JR Geesaman (11/20/78-12/26/24) was an incredibly loyal, dedicated, hardworking, and fun-loving man who put others' needs ahead of his own. Born in Waynesboro, PA, where he attended Waynesboro Area Senior High School and built a life with his family, he was known for his compassion, generosity and witty sense of humor. He was the son of Bonnie Stewart and Roger Geesaman Sr. He leaves behind his adoring wife Carrie, and children Dalton (19), Mady (16), Haleigh (8), his mother Bonnie, brothers Corey Stewart and family, Thomas Geesaman and family, sister Mandy Shea and family, along with 14 nieces and nephews. He’ll be deeply missed by his favorite mother-in-law, 3 sisters-in-law and a brother in-law and their entire families. He was proud of his trade, and unwaveringly grateful to those that gave him the skills. He was a loyal tradesman at Brent Sanders Building and Remodeling since 2013. Alongside his full-time role, JR completed many projects throughout the community. His pride for his craft will live within the quality of his work. JR was the definition of a “family man”, all around. When he wasn't working, he’d be with his wife, kids, and family, kayaking & floating, camping, or fishing—making everything fun. You’d also find him riding his motorcycle, washing his truck or enjoying a drink with friends at Park Tavern and then trying to win a game of Pop darts back in the garage. JR was a bright light for everyone. He was one that never met a stranger, and quite literally has given the shirt off his back to help a friend. His smile, laughter and love for others were infectious. We was preceded in death by brother, Justin (G-Man), father, Roger Geesaman Sr, and both sets of grandparents. The family is hosting JR’s Celebration of Life at the Quincy Ox Roast Association on Saturday, January 11th, 2025, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. EVERYONE who knew, loved or cared for JR is sincerely invited
