Roger Eugene Martz

Roger E. Martz, 78, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD. Born May 2, 1942 in Beaver Creek, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Roger Martz and Vauda Adala (Kline) Martz of Hagerstown. Roger was a graduate of Boonsboro High School class of 1960. He retired in 2017 from his business, Roger E. Martz General Contractor. Roger is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carleen Robison Martz. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, one brother, Larry Martz of Cearfoss, and two sisters, Darlene Kline of Nebraska and Shirley Palmer of Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Witmer and Regina Creager. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD. Arrangements were made by J.L.
