Ronald Lloyd Fisher, 83, of Sabillasville, MD, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 27, 2025 at his home, surrounded by loving family.
Born on August 13, 1942 in Rocky Ridge, MD, he was the son of the late Evelyn (Ridenour) and Lloyd Cornelius Fisher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin Sons, Perry Dean and Gary Eugene Fisher; and Sister, Joann Cool.
Ronald graduated from Emmittsburg High School, class of 1960.
Ronald worked for Grove Crane Manufacturing until his retirement in 2006.
Ronald was a lifetime member of South Mountain Rod & Gun Club, Smithsburg, and was a past member of Thurmont American Legion, Post 168.
Ronald was an avid hunter, enjoyed spending time with his Grandchildren, and taking annual trips with his family to Ocean City, MD.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Eugenia M. (Kuhn) Fisher; Children, Brenda Woelfel and husband, John, of Belmont, NC; Tonya Lewis and husband, Wayne, of Smithsburg, MD; and Dawn Fisher of Sabillasville, MD; Grandchildren, Derek Woelfel (Laura), Tara Sellers (Wil), Noah Bradberry, and Dorsey Lewis; 3 Great Grandchildren, Hazel, Logan and Josie, and one on the way; Sister, Dottie Favorite; Special friends, Duane and Connie Simmers; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday, December 1, 2025 at 11 AM at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, 14110 Stottlemyer Rd. Smithsburg, MD 21783 with Pastor Andrew Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery, Smithsburg, MD.
Family will receive friends Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 3 to 5 PM at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD.
