Stefen “Lance” Berry passed from this life on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the age of 53.
Born September 6, 1970, he was the son of Gwendolyn M. Hall and Kenneth D. Berry.
Lance was a mason by trade, working for several masonry companies in MD, PA and ND. He also owned and operated Rustic Stone Creations in addition to doing carpentry work for his uncle.
Lance enjoyed attending his children’s sporting events, golfing with his buddies, the outdoors and listening to music. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers and Giants fan. He had a great sense of humor and was a great cook. His big heart and kind soul will be dearly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Lance is survived by his children, of whom he was very proud of, son, Keaton D. Berry; twin daughters, Marlee A. Berry and Makena M. Berry, his long-time partner, Lisa Harshman and her children, Bryce Byers, Luna Jackson, granddaughter, Athena Sensenig, uncle, Jack D. Hall Jr; aunt Linda Hall; stepmother, Mary Berry and half-sisters, Caitlyn Barnhart, Amanda Demine, Jessica Butler and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lance was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack D. and Eleanor Jean Hall, his uncle Dan S. Hall, and infant son, Hunter Berry.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 27th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the American Legion Morris Frock Post 42. 405 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
