Sheila Kay (Wolfe) Ruth

Sheila Kay Ruth, 71, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 7, 2026 at her home, surrounded by loving family.

Born on October 3, 1954 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Evelyn G. (Keckley) and Richard Lee Wolfe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister, Linda Edwards, and a Great Niece, Leelyn Elliott.

Sheila graduated from South Hagerstown High School, class of 1972.

She was employed at Hagerstown Laundry as an Office Clerk until they closed.

She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Hagerstown, MD. She was an avid animal lover, in love with her cats and dogs.

She is survived by her loving husband, William "Bill" Ruth; 2 Sisters, Diana Flook of Hagerstown, MD and Sarah Milton and husband, Jeff, of Moultrie, GA; and several Nieces, Nephews, and Great Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
