Shirley Mae (Tracey) Fishack

Shirley Mae Fishack, 82, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in Camp Hill, PA. Born January 13, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer M. Tracey and Ruth Virginia (Kline) Tracey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Butch” Fishack and her longtime companion, Jerry Harshman. She was employed by Claire Frock Garment Company of Thurmont, MD. She was a member of the South Mountain Rod and Gun Club Ladies Auxiliary. Shirley is survived by her son, Rodney L. Fishack, grandchildren, Amanda Pryor, Amelia Fishack and Bryan Fishack, great-grandchildren, Ethan Shupp, Hannah Shupp, Delilah Fishack, Trevor Fishack, Lillyan Fishack, Tommy Smith, Layla Smith and Madelynn Harris, sisters, Betty Sowers and Norma Eaton, brothers, Earl Tracey, Richard Tracey, Robert Tracey, Elmer Tracey, Leon Tracey, and Elwood Tracey, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by sisters, Esther Toms and Evelyn Tracey and brother, George Tracey. Services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 1:00pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Andrew Brown officiating. Burial will be in Smithsburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
