Shirley May Massie, 65, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at Ravenwood Lutheran Home in Hagerstown, MD. Born Saturday, November 14, 1953 in Decatur, IL, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Barger and Dorothy May (McClain) Barger. She was employed by Maryland Ribbon of Hagerstown for 42 years. Shirley is survived by daughters, Cheryl Barklow and Loretta Butts, son, Oren Hoff, Jr., companion, Edward Turner, brother, James Barger, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, John Barger. Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were made by J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, and online condolences may be offered at www.jldavisfh.com.
