Shirley Ann (Palmer) Fox

Shirley Ann (Palmer) Fox, 83, of Hagerstown, MD passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, MD, surrounded by loving family.

Born on October 2, 1941 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lula Mae (Spigler) and Paul Edward Palmer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Landis "Lanny" Fox, Sr.

Shirley worked as Bus Driver for Washington County Public Schools for 10 years. She also owned and operated a cleaning service.

Shirley was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Hagerstown, MD.

Shirley enjoyed fishing, working in the flower bed, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her Children, Lanny Fox, Jr. and wife, Cindy, of Hedgesville, WV; and Salena Eichelberger and husband, Rich, of Sharpsburg, MD; Grandchildren, Robert Fox, Brian Eichelberger (Michelle), Andrea Leonard (Randy), and Katelyn Eichelberger (Sean McElroy); Great Grandchildren, Bradley, Daylen, Delaney, Jayce, Wesley, Liam, Raegan, Remey and Declan; Sisters, Joyce Oliver and Suzanne Kipe (Ron); Brother, Paul Palmer (Casey); and numerous Nephews and Cousins.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
