Shirley Ann Weller

Shirley Ann Weller, a woman whose life was taken early due to her battle with peritoneal cancer, passed away on November 21, 2025, at her home in Hagerstown, MD, with her daughter by her side.

She was 70 years old.

Shirley retired from the Maryland Correctional Training Center in 2021 where she worked as the Office Secretary in the Educational Department.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Cherie Orndorff and husband Robert of Falling Waters, WV, granddaughter, Sarah Osborne of Hagerstown, MD, brothers, Carmine (Pepe) DeGracia and wife Shelley of South Chesterfield, VA, Christopher DeGracia and wife Madeleine of Seattle, WA, Stephen Russo of East Windsor, NJ, Gabriel DeGracia of Puerto Rico, and her dearest friend, Jennifer Messina of MD.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Herzfeld Russo, father, Carmelo DeGracia, and stepfather, Alfred Russo.

At Shirley's request, no services will be held.
