Sondra Lee Hall

Sondra Lee Hall, 80, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021, at her home. Born September 13, 1941, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Middlekauff and Mildred (Hettinger) Middlekauff. She was a graduate of Waynesboro High School class of 1959. She was a member of Joe Stickell American Legion Post 15 Ladies Auxiliary since 1990. She worked many years at Chestnut Logs Restaurant. She was Lutheran by faith. She enjoyed drawing and writing poetry. Sondra is survived by two daughters, Sherry Morris and husband Ronnie of Arkansas and Heidi Mickley and husband Phil of Waynesboro, one son, Bobby Hall II and wife Penny of Mont Alto, one sister, Shirley Singleton of Greencastle, eight grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hall whom she married July 29, 1961, and two brothers, Bill Middlekauff and Bill Niswander. The family would like to extend special thanks to granddaughter Marissa Anderson and her husband Michael for taking her into their home and taking care of her for her three children and also a special thanks to SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care, especially Chaplain Brown for their care and compassion during this difficult time. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 11:00am at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Jaye Bartle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
