Stanley Robert "Stan" Campbell

Stanley Robert Campbell, 60, of Hagerstown MD, peacefully passed away on Wednesday May 14, at Meritus Medial Center. Born February 2, 1960, in Sharon, CT, he was son of the late Aldebert and Adelaide Campbell of Greencastle, PA. Stan graduated from Greencastle-Antrim, Class of 1978. He was a professional truck driver. He was survived by his wife, Mary (Blackburn) Campbell of 37 years; a daughter Erin (Campbell) Hurd and husband Darin Hurd, One grandson Dakota Leroy Hurd. His sister Rue Ann (Campbell) Demers, Her husband Rick, Penny Kisley. His brothers; Bruce Campbell and wife Marjorie, Del Campbell, Randy Campbell and wife Diane, and several nieces and nephews. He loved dirt track racing, being a driver himself, and working on cars. He enjoyed playing golf and watching hockey and being a proud Washington Capitals fan. He enjoyed going camping with his family and close camping friends, being outdoors and ATVing. But what he loved the most was spending time with his grandson and grand-dog (Marty) and relaxing with a cold beverage. There will be no funeral or service at this time, the family will be having a Celebration of Life at a future date.
