THOMAS LEWIS MCDONALD JR

Thomas Lewis McDonald, Jr., 59, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Hospice of Washington County, Doey’s House, in Hagerstown.

Born August 14, 1965, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Thomas L. McDonald, Sr. and his wife and Judy L. (Kline) McDonald.

He was a graduate of Clear Spring High School class of 1983.

He was employed by Martins Auto of Maugansville and Hub City Transit of Hagerstown.

Thomas had a passion for trains.

In addition to his parents and stepmother, he is survived by one sister, Susan Alice Dumire and husband Dwayne, one niece, one nephew and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 11:00am, at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Curtis Hendershot officiating. Burial will be in St. Mark’s Luheran Church Cemetery, Wolfsville, MD.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
