IN LOVING MEMORY OF TERESA GRAY (Nanny)
Sunrise: August 20th, 1954 - Sunset: August 7th, 2023
Teresa was born on August 20,1954 in Frederick, Md, to parents Peggy L. Miller and William “bill” Crummitt. Nanny was the wife of the late Bruce S. Gray (never divorced). Nanny was the only girl out of six children. Nanny has preceded three of her brothers; Norman Crummitt, Donald “Donnie” Sweeney and Mark “Curtis” Crummitt (wife Barbara). Nanny leaves behind brothers William “Billboy” Crummitt (wife Annie) and Micheal “gene” Crummitt (wife sherry). Nanny also leaves behind three children; Dawn Crummitt, Bruce Gray, and Dale Davis jr. (wife Cindy) Nanny also had two stepsons, Robbie Davis and Tony Davis. Additionally, nanny had three grandkids: Damyra Crummitt, Diondai Gray and Danielle Fischer (husband Ryan)
Nanny loved drinking coffee and watching the morning news. She liked to end her days with a soda and watching true crime shows or old westerns like bonanza and gun smoke. She also loved hanging out with her favorite little man, her cat Tuff Tuff. Nanny also loved gossiping on the phone with her best friend Sharon Diggs, and sister-in-law’s Barbra Crummitt and Sunday Fossett. I would also like to give a thank you to Nannys close friends Mary-Ann Socks, Tamia Branch, Tracy Scott Brown (husband Daryl) and Juwan Jamison-Williams. Nanny also had a longtime companion Dale “Tink” Davis Sr. (pappy) who passed in 2014.
I would like to give a big thanks to Washington County Hospice and my grandmothers caregiver, Patricia “Patti” Clark for the care they have given her. I ask that all donations be made to Washington County Hospice and J.L. Davis funeral home in Smithsburg, Md. Including flowers or other gifts!
Arrangements made with J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, and online condolences can be made at www.jldavisfh.com.
