Thomas Edward Seal

Thomas Edward Seal, 56, of Hagerstown MD, passed away unexpectantly on April 17th, 2024.

Thomas ‘Ed’ was born on April 24th, 1967, to Ms. Shirley A Welsh of Baltimore, MD. He spent most of his childhood and early adulthood in Baltimore, until he relocated to Frederick, MD in 1994.

There, he found hope and a new start through the Frederick Rescue Mission. Ed was an advocate and member of the community for many years, overcoming life’s challenges through Christ.

Shortly after, he met his wife Melissa Seal of Frederick, MD. Ed held several blue collared jobs over the years, working with his wife to deliver the Frederick News Post paper, as well as United Concrete, and CHCS. He enjoyed playing softball, cookouts, wrestling, action movies, and classic rock. He was a devoted fan of the Baltimore Ravens and the Orioles. Ed loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Thomas was predeceased by his wife Melissa Seal, sister Donna Seal, brother Jimmy Welsh, Mother, Shirley Welsh, and his stepson Aaron Johnson. He is survived by his sisters: Brenda Nelson and Darlene Welsh and his children; Stephanie Clipp, Thomas Seal Jr., Paul Seal, Chelsea Snyder, and Destiny Hambleton, as well as his 3 stepchildren and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be held at Crossway Christian Fellowship of Hagerstown, MD on April 27th, 2024, at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made directly to the family or GoFundMe me page listed below.
