Virginia Senz Obituary
Mrs. Virginia Senz, of Cavetown, MD, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023.
Born June 1, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Hannah (Lynch) and John Wood of Short Hills, NJ.
After high school, she graduated from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art.
She then worked for the former Bell Labs as a technical artist.
She married Henry Senz of Chatham, NJ and started a family, eventually moving to Smithsburg when Henry's job transferred to Hagerstown. She enjoyed China painting and spending time on the Chesapeake Bay. Henry and Virginia were very active in the Eastern Yacht Club near Baltimore for almost 40yrs.
She is survived by a sister, Barbara Mahon in Manahawkin, NJ, daughter, Virginia Senz, son Peter, two grandchildren, Nicole Davis and Bryan Senz, five great grandchildren, Madison Davis, Jonathan Davis, Landon Davis, Charlotte Senz and Amelia Senz.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
