William Steven “Bill” Crain, Sr., 70, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at his home.
Born January 18, 1950 in Arlington, VA, he was the son of the late Donald Cray Crain and Betty Lee (Jackson) Crain.
Bill was a retired IBEW Local 26 Union Electrician. He moved to Hagerstown in 2003 from the Wheaton / Silver Spring area. He will miss cutting the lawn on his John Deere, waiving to the neighbors and watching the wildlife.
Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years, Louise M. (Monroe) Crain, children, Tammy L. Brais of Crofton, MD, William S. Crain, Jr. of Fairfield, PA, Donald F. Crain and wife Rosemary of Clermont, FL, and Robert K. Crain and wife Jennifer of Hagerstown, MD, sisters, Betty Clukey and husband Wayne of Gaithersburg, MD, Jacque Benjamin of Midlothian, VA, Donna Carlton and husband Cliff of Bedford, VA, and Debbie Keller and husband Chris of Philadelphia, PA, twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
