William Bullard

William Bullard, age 86, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021. He was born August 17, 1934, in Foley, Alabama but called Waynesboro, Pennsylvania his home. Over the years, Bill found his joy in connecting with people through food. He was a chef at the Waynesboro Country Club for over 20 years and he was beloved in our community. He loved to make people laugh... mostly at inappropriate jokes. He had an immense collection of cookbooks that he loved to peruse and cooking while whistling was his favorite pastime. Bill enjoyed good music and dancing with his wife on weekends with their friends at Cumberland Valley Western Dance Association. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Joyce Bullard, daughters, Lisa Keplinger and Valerie Shane, stepdaughter, Jill Cooper-Wile, stepson Gerald Cooper, and so many friends and so much family that he knows he is loved. A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be held at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, located at 12525 Bradbury Avenue, Smithsburg, Maryland at 11 am, Thursday, May 13, 2021. His final wish was that we do not mourn his passing but instead celebrate his well-lived life and be happy for his return home to the loving arms of his Lord and Savior.
