William Leon Eger

William L. Eger, 90, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at his home. Born February 15, 1930 in Piedmont, WV, he was the son of the late Joseph and Jesse (O’Grady) Eger. He retired from Washington County Hospital in 1995 after working over 40 years in the Laboratory. He was a member of Calvary Temple and Bridge of Life and a member of Gideon’s International of Hagerstown camp for 49 years. William is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lelia “Belle” (Banzhoff) Eger, sister, Roulette Peregoy of Victor, NY, and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 at 11:00am at Calvary Temple, Williamsport, MD, with Rev. Robert Robinson and Rev. Terry King officiating.
