William Warren Pence

William Warren Pence (Bud), 75, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on January 19, 2022, peacefully at home with his family by his side. Born on May 24, 1946, in Montgomery County, MD, he was the youngest of 10 children born to the late David and Lila (Neff) Bynaker. He is survived by his four children: Robin Pence (fiancé Ryan), Richard Pence (wife Stephanie), Bobby Pence (wife Jenn), and Danny Pence (girlfriend Kayla); 12 grandchildren; one Great-grandchild; one sister, and several nieces and nephews. While he enjoyed many hobbies such as reading, listening to music, dancing, watching the Washington Redskins, and pitching horseshoes, his soul's passion was his family, all of whom he cherished dearly. Everyone will remember Bud for being a gentle man with a warm smile and welcoming personality that made everyone he met feel like they were at home. His generous, compassionate nature freely gave love to all without wanting anything in return. The imprint he has left on his loved one’s lives throughout his journey of life, love, and joy is indescribable. He had a genuine love for his family, loving each and every one of them unconditionally, wholeheartedly, and without measure. Though he was only one man, he was the world to those that loved him. Those we love don’t go away they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. So loved, so missed so very dear. A celebration of his life will be held on February 6, 2022, at 2:00pm, at Leetown Baptist Community Building, 6271 Payne’s Ford Rd. Kearneysville, WV 25430. Officiating will be Pastor Bucky Chapman.
