For some reason you popped into my head, looked you up on line, so sorry to learn of your passing this way. We all partied together starting in the early 70's-80's and even into the music industry days. Had so much fun back then. I lost touch with most from back then, but think about those times when we were all so carefree, happy and had so much fun. Will miss you my friend RIP. Love You Kate Hickey (Hughes)

Dear Donnie, I will miss you and your kind heart. Your music will live on in so many people. You inspired me to pursue my dream in music. As a young, awkward teenager, it only took you singing a few lines of the Rod Stewart song, "Cindy Incidentally", to make me feel all grown up, beautiful, and ready to take on the world. Thank you for always making me feel important. Love you always, your cousin Cindy.

In memory of Donnie Spence
I pray for the love and peace of divine providence
We'll all meet in eternity so sweet...

You lived a life well
as a tempest ' giant seaswell
You're not plagued with problems of man
You are notes on a violin playing
So touch Heavens Host as walking in their ghost
Barefoot on the sand
You're at peace
as the many ships on the seas...

As nighttime gently melts into day
We all pray
When we meet on the threshold
And then Heavens hands we'll hold...

When I was just a youngster you helped light a fire in my musical soul watching you so passionately play the drums and sing like you were born to do it. Thanks for all your encouragement and kindness back then to a much younger guy just learning guitar.

My dear brother. I will miss you like nothing I've ever missed. Your talent, your gentle soul. You were a lover of music and people! I've learned from you. Your beautiful smile will remain in my heart and the hearts of all who knew you or briefly met you. Your mother is a dear sweet soul, as well. She is deeply affected by the loss of her first born son. You are loved and always will be loved.
